(417) 532-2885 24 Hour Hotline,
We are here to talk with you, to help you figure out what to do next and how to keep yourself and your children safe.
We have a Legal Advocate and trained volunteers available to assist you throughout the entire process.
We can help you address your basic needs, finding a safe place to stay, securing financial resources, working out issues with transportation, providing food and shelter for your family, finding a job, and other needs.
Weekly Support Groups
We offer weekly gatherings to provide emotional support, safety planning and coping skills.
Advocates are available to meet you at the hospital, at our shelter, or at one of our offices and direct you to the resources you may need.
We are fortunate to have the opportunity to work in partnership with Parents as Teachers in an effort to provide our clients with assistance in developing parenting skills.
The same programs and services offered to residents at our emergency shelter are available to non-residents as well.
Referral to Other Resources
If needs exceed the boundaries of our staff or advocates,we will gladly work to locate outside resources for both legal and mental health issues.
